What: 5th Annual Vermont Gear Makers Festival!
This is the only event that entirely centers on Vermont gear makers. All booths are Vermont-based companies selling and showcasing outdoor gear, apparel and adjacent products. Any Vermont-based outdoor gear, apparel, and accessory company, no matter how big or small, is invited to apply.
Where: Downtown Montpelier, VT
When: Saturday, April 25th, 11 am - 4 pm
Why: Vermont has an amazing community of gear makers and this is the event that solely focuses on bringing them together and giving them the biggest stage possible.
This year’s Fest will (again) be held in conjunction with Onion River Outdoors’ annual gravel bike ride, the Muddy Onion. As well as being open to the public and attracting GMF regulars, the Fest will overlap with the return and after party for Muddy’s ~750 riders. In 2025, we first combined these events and held the Fest in walkable downtown Montpelier. 2025 drew GMF’s largest crowd yet - 2026 will be even better!
Vendor application opening soon!
Vendors get:
10’x10’ booth spot (bring your own tent, tables, chairs, etc.).
Networking time with fellow makers.
Discounted lunch/drink tickets. There will be a selection available to choose from on the day, including vegan and gluten-free options and beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks.
Vendors give:
Booth fee. (If your manufacturing takes place in the US, you get 50% off! Thanks for making local - we know it’s hard to do.)
Vendors are required to help with marketing the event. Marketing assets will be shared after you are approved to vend.
